Marco Gastón Ruben Rodríguez was born on October 26, 1986, in Capitán Bermúdez, Argentina. He began his footballing career at the local club, Coronel Aguirre, and later moved to Rosario Central. In 2006, he joined River Plate, where he made his professional debut in 2008.Rise to Prominence
Ruben quickly established himself as a talented forward and earned himself a call-up to the Argentina national team in 2009. He represented Argentina at the Copa America that year and scored his only international goal against Chile.
